Background: This project was a collaborative piece of work based on creating a radical publication. Radical publications can be explained as publications that communicate messages that go against the “norm” in order to shed light on subjects in need of change or action.

Aim: The aim of this project was to shed light on the difficulties faced by students when attending college online during the pandemic.

Solution: The solution is a publication aimed at college students that highlights a day in their lives as an online college student during the pandemic. The publication empathises with the students whilst using a humorous approach to share the message. Pages are full of technical difficulties including the dreaded broken speech over zoom. Readers are engaged by making layouts of various text orientations, fold-outs and techniques.
